MIDDLETOWN, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 21, 2000--Mediacom Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: MCCC) has announced the promotion of John G. Pascarelli to the position of Senior Vice President, Marketing and Consumer Services.

Mr. Pascarelli has been with Mediacom since March 1998 serving as Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Pascarelli has over 19 years of experience in the cable television industry. Before joining Mediacom, he served as Vice President, Marketing for Helicon Communications from January 1996 to February 1998 and as Corporate Director of Marketing for Cablevision Industries from 1988 to 1995. Prior to that time, Mr. Pascarelli served in various marketing and system management capacities for Continental Cablevision, Cablevision Systems and Storer Communications.
